(a) 1 DAY CALLIGRAPHY WORKSHOP with VINCENT DANIAU
Vincent, our experienced French tutor, will give a 1 Day Calligraphy Workshop. The workshop encourages all calligraphers to perfect their calligraphy techniques under Vincent's guiding hand. An opportunity not to be missed. Exact date to be confirmed in the New Year.
(b) 1 DAY BOOK-BINDINGWORKSHOP with SANDY SEXTON
Due to these ever popular workshops, Sandy has again agreed to hold a 1 day Workshop in the Spring.
This course is likely to appeal to those who have already done a little book-binding previously. Sandy is full of interesting and informative ideas on perfecting individual books. So, ensure you book your space early!
(c) GAYNOR GOFFE 2 DAY WORKSHOP
This is a unique opportunity to learn the art of VERSALS from the expert! Gaynor has very kindly agreed to come to Dublin hopefully, in May 2012, to give this workshop. Likely date will be 12/13 May, 2012 but this will be confirmed in the New Year.

It is worth noting that Spaces are limited, so do book early.
The first course will deal with the Foundation Hand. It is divided into 4 main sections.
Section 1 will instruct you in how to set youself up for practice, materials required, strokes that make up each letter, and each letter of the alphabet.
Section 2 deals with words and spacing. The third with capital Letters. The fourth with writing a verse. Each section would require work to be sent by you for correction. You can work at your pace corresponding when ready. The courses are worthwhile and take some work and you would move onto the next section when you reach the required standard.
Sections 3 & 4 take the Hand to a finer level should you wish to do the Diploma in the particular Hand.
